Itinerary

Do a practice run then Tubbs Hill and McEuen Park

After gearing up with your safety equipment, you will receive a one-on-one orientation from your professional guide on how to operate your Segway. Once you?re comfortable gliding around on two wheels, you?ll be turned loose for practice on a short obstacle course for about 10 minutes (pictured). From there, it?s time to head out into the nearby neighborhood to make your way to the lakefront for a look at the magnificent 100-year-old homes along the water. Listen to your guide through your wireless narration system as you cruise around the base of Tubbs Hill and into McEuen Park.

Start sampling with fresh and seasonal bites

As we head back into town for your first bite of the day, we will visit Seasons Restaurant. The sampling at this local’s staple will be a grilled cheese sandwich like nothing you ever had as a kid. This adult grilled cheese has five blended cheeses on a unique bread with a marinara dipping sauce. We will also sample some yummy pork belly bites. From there, it?s time for fresh eats at Carambola Cafe. Chef Columba was trained at the California Culinary Academy, and she will amaze us with one of her Latin-inspired dishes. The dishes are flavorful and colorful, but always a surprise for us. Tour CDA founder Gary loves this place!

a group of people sitting at a table in a room Cruise the Centennial Trail in search of some English Pub Food and Sweet Treats!

It?s time to digest an easy glide along the Centennial Trail. The next stop is Crown & Thistle for some top-notch Bangers and Mash. Owner Ben handcrafts over 80 varieties of his unique Bangers and tops them off with his buttery mashed potatoes. We call them crack potatoes, the best we have ever had! Sweet tooths can get excited about the next stop, where you?ll get to try fresh handmade French cookies called macarons. These colorful delights take three days to make, and they are mouth watery and yummy. We will also sample a super chocolate brownie. This bakery was voted the best in all of Idaho in 2021

Toast to a good glide over cidersRide out your sugar high on a breezy route back through McEuen Park for a stop at the beautiful Coeur d?Alene Resort. The final tasting is a short ride away for ciders or beer. For those sipping on cider, expect a flight; if you?re more interested in a brew, choose one on tap and kick back, full and happy from your CDA food and Segway tour. It’s a short ride back to the starting point, where your tour concludes.
